Toyota Potong Sasaran Pengeluaran Globalnya Untuk April Sebanyak 17 Peratus

Pada 17 Mac, Toyota berkata ia merancang untuk mengeluarkan purata kira-kira 800, 000 kenderaan sebulan pada suku kedua tahun ini disebabkan oleh kekurangan berterusan semikonduktor automotif.

Specifically, Toyota's global production, including overseas production, is expected to decline by 150,000 units to 750,000 units in April (250,000 units in Japan and 500,000 units overseas). The numbers provided to suppliers at the start of the year included the expected resumption of production cuts, but Toyota cut production because of semiconductor shortages. Compared with forecasts at the start of the year, production was cut by 10 per cent in May and 5 per cent in June.
